Manchester City plans to rebuild its defense.

According to the BBC, City will hand Aymeric Laporte a release clause if they sign Yoshiko Gvardiol.

City are looking to bolster their defense in the summer transfer window. They’ve activated their radar and Gvardiol is their target.

Gvardiol burst onto the professional scene after spending his youth career with Dinamo Zagreb. He impressed in his first season and made a name for himself.

He then headed to Leipzig in the summer 2021 transfer window and started his Bundesliga career. He has developed into a top-notch defender, combining reliable defense with solid physicality, passing, and speed.

Gvardiol traveled with Croatia to the World Cup in Qatar, where he helped them reach the quarterfinals, and his stock skyrocketed. He is now reportedly worth over $106 billion.

Gvardiol’s performances caught the eye of Man City, who immediately began the process of signing him. They even finalized a personal agreement.

However, 먹튀검증 negotiations have slowed down as City and Leipzig have been unable to resolve their differences over the transfer fee.

Despite the disagreement over the transfer fee, the general consensus is that City will eventually sign Gbadiol.

If City do land Gervinho, they will be looking to sell, and Laporte is one of the targets.

Laporte failed to secure a starting spot at City last season after losing out in the competition for the role. If Gervinho joins, the competition will be even more intense.

If City were to sign Gervinho, it would give Laporte the opportunity to leave for a new destination.

Tottenham Hotspur were also interested in Gervinho, but were rebuffed.
