The day after the 16-game hitting streak was broken, Kim Ha-seong’s run resumed.

Kim Ha-seong started as a shortstop in the 2023 major league away game against the Arizona Diamondbacks held at Phoenix Chase Field in Arizona, USA on the 14th (Korean time) and recorded 1 hit and 1 walk in 4 at-bats.

Kim Ha-seong,먹튀검증 who recorded 16 hits in a row until the game against Arizona on the 12th, set a tie record for consecutive hits by Korean major leaguers along with Choo Shin-soo (now SSG Landers). 

However, it was Kim Ha-seong who ended the march with no hits in 4 at-bats the previous day (13th). But he didn’t stay silent for long.

Kim Ha-seong, who entered the first at-bat in the first inning, hit a fastball in a 3-ball-1 strike advantage with Arizona starter Brandon Pott, and hit a double toward left field. This is Kim Ha-sung’s 17th double of the season.

After that, Kim Ha-seong scored a goal by stepping on the home plate when Fernando Tatis Jr.’s timely hit followed.

In the second inning that followed, Kim Ha-seong picked a walk and went on base. However, this time, it is Kim Ha-seong who failed to hit home with Tatis Jr.’s shortstop grounder and Juan Soto’s second baseman grounder. 

Later, in the 4th inning, with 1 out and 2 base, Ha-seong Kim struck out looking for an outside fastball. He struck out on three pitches against pitcher Miguel Castro, who also changed in the sixth inning.

He was out on a grounder to third base in his final at-bat in the eighth inning.

Ha-seong Kim maintained a batting average of 0.286 (109 hits in 381 at-bats) for the season.

Meanwhile, San Diego suffered an unfortunate 4-5 come-from-behind loss as it ended scoreless at the end of the 8th and 9th innings. Seth Lugo, the starter, pitched 5 innings and gave up 2 runs, but the bullpen was disappointed.
